Project Overview

If approved, the bond would support improvements across multiple USD 270 buildings. The projects shown on this page were identified through a professional facilities assessment, input from district teachers and staff, and the work of a citizen bond committee.

The proposed improvements focus on maintaining safe, functional, and reliable facilities while addressing long-term infrastructure needs. Many of the projects involve building systems and spaces that have served the district well for decades and now require reinvestment to continue supporting students and staff.

Understanding the Two-Question Ballot

The bond proposal is structured as a two-question ballot. Projects are labeled throughout this site as Question 1 (Q1) or Question 2 (Q2) to reflect how they would appear on the ballot.

  • Question 1 (Q1) includes projects focused on essential facility needs and core building systems.

  • Question 2 (Q2) includes additional projects that enhance functionality, instructional spaces, and long-term flexibility.

Detailed ballot language, costs, and tax impact information are provided on the Bond Proposal page. This page is intended to help voters understand what projects are included in the proposal.
